Am i allowed to work without an id?

My id will be coming in in 45 days and i want fo start working now will i still be hired or no

In Australia we can use - passport, Medicare card, ID and other things instead.

Just use the paper receipt/temp ID they gave you.  That’s supposed to suffice for anything.  But it usually comes super fast.  I’ve never had an ID take 45 days. Possibly 2-3 weeks at most.

Do you have a passport? If not do you have like a picture of your old one or have you never had one before? Typically in most states you have to have two forms of ID when obtaining employment I always had to provide my ID & social.

They may be able to issue u a paper temporary one from dmv. look online
