Have you ever been told you are too pretty/hot for your partner/bf? Or vice versa: your partner is too pretty/ hot for you?

I’ve been told many many times I’m way too pretty for my bf and it’s getting on my fucking nerves. I usually tell them “I love him don’t worry who’s the good looking one” 
One time my bf heard and was hurt. I was angry at that person. 
Well recently an aunt told me I could do better. I thought she was talking about his looks so I got mad. She told me it wasn’t the looks. She said my bf gives bad vibes and she knows I’ll end up being hurt.

I've been told plenty that I'm to pretty for my dh. I can't tell you how many times he would introduce to me to someone they will be "oh your Abby your prettier than I thought you would be". His family some of mines and our friends groups have said it. In the beginning it bothered my dh but after like a month or so he got over it. He says "it doesn't matter what anybody says because at the end of the day I get to lay down next to you every night". Which he has been for almost 9 years on the 9th of this month. He handles himself really well when other men stare at me he doesn't even pay them any mind. To me my husband is the sexiest man alive and I am massively lucky to have him as my husband and the father to our little guy.

I heard a lot from my husband’s family that they wonder how he managed to pull me 🙄 That they’ve never seen him with such a pretty girl. But on the other hand, my husband gets hit on a lot by new female colleagues or female clients until he brings up his wife 😂 Girls have had no issue telling me my husband is good looking lol. And I would have to very much agree! Super handsome guy, and I think comments from his family as such, he doesn’t see it lol.

I’ve never had anyone say that about my husband, but they’ve said.. you two compliment each other well. People have said I was way hotter than my ex.. made me feel like people were disgusted by me because I fell in love with who he was instead of just looks.

Yes.. my husband and I work together a couple days a week and when there’s a new person and I tell them that he’s my husband, the new person 99% of the time is like “you’re lying. You’re messing with me”. People have looked at my profile pic on FB and told my other friends “Jesus why is she with him” etc. But the people who know him and are closest to us don’t question it at all because they know he’s a good guy. It’s just offensive though when people are shocked that I’m with him. He’s a bit older than me and about the same height as me, but I find him really attractive inside and out (otherwise I wouldn’t be with him obviously lol)

The fact that I look like I look half my age. But with partners, I usually look like their daughter, even when I dated someone 10 years younger than me, he still looked older than me which is sad. My current partner is actually 16 years older than me, but I embraced the whole daddy daughter vibe, and that has become I guess you’d say our kink lol. I’m 42 And I still get carded everywhere I go unless I know them. As for looks, I’ve been hit on in front of my partners, in the past. I just say thank you and I’m good thanks. And I warn them that it happens often. Especially when I’m all dolled up. Cute girl. Big boobs and butt nice smile. Ya get the picture. But I let them know that I have no interest in them etc. I’ve dated men that looked like models. I’ve dated a guy who’s nick name was the mutant in middle school. As long as he treats me well, that’s all that I care about. I would have said to your aunt you know what he treats me like a Queen and that’s all that matters to me. Or to other men he’s a king in the sack and wink. And to family or a snarky person I would have said so could you and looked at their partner and walked away.
