How long did it take you to get pregnant with your first?

I am 27 and my husband is 30. We are trying for our first. We have been trying for about 4-5 months now and haven't had any luck yet. How long did it take you to conceive your first and how old were you? I am using opks, monitoring fertile signs and thought I was timing everything correctly but still nothing.
