Anyone super nervous about giving birth???

I’m so nervous to give birth. It’s terrible, and Tiktok hasn’t helped the matter. A lady posted a story about how she almost died giving birth and ever since then I keep thinking about all the massive risks associated with giving birth. Am I the only one 😱?

I used to cry myself to sleep at night thinking about how I would likely give birth one day. The thought of it scared the heck out of me! I started doing my own “research” on birth and realized how normal it is. We are made to do this! God is not a careless mechanic. Yes, there are horror stories about birth. There are also horror stories about every other thing out there. Birth comes with risks, just like getting in your car and going on a drive comes with risks. It might be helpful to spend some time watching positive birth videos on YouTube and listening to birth podcasts. I really enjoy the Happy Homebirth podcast and The Birth Hour. I’m sorry you are nervous! ❤️

My mantra about birth and most other things that CAN have a potentially negative outcome (like getting in a car or on an airplane)
“Things go right WAY more often than they go wrong!”
We just hear about the times it goes wrong because it is more bizarre for those things to happen!

I’m getting nervous again yes but not like, “omg omg” nervous 🤣 I’m nervous as to if it’ll be as smooth like it was with my first or the total opposite. But the excitement to meet my baby beats my nervousness! I’m getting induced next week! 🥰

I just told my husband yesterday I was getting nervous. With my first I was nervous because I didnt know what to expect. Now that I know what to expect I'm nervous about having to do it again.
