So i just put in a tampon like 1 min ago instead of a pad

So I just tried on a tampon for the first time and it feels weird but I know that I will get used to it but I can still feel it I tried to push it more in but I just sit down and I feel it but I also cough and I would feel like it was coming down
​So my question is WHY CAN I FEEL IT IF I PUSHED IT ALL TYE WAY?
