Baby girl was initially due 8/12/21 but due to several issues during pregnancy needed a c section at 37 weeks. As a FTM I had a lot of anxiety about the process, the pain, and the recovery. The c section was the worst part. The pressure was so intense I felt like I couldn’t breathe. The pain afterwards I managed with Tylenol and ibuprofen. The recovery process has thus far been easy. I got up and walked that same night of the surgery. The c section was not as bad as I thought it would be and baby girl was so worth it in the end. We were able to do skin to skin in the operating room and I was able to breastfeed in the recovery room.
