Anyone from NYC area able to answer this?: I am still covered under my parents health insurance until Im 26, but they won't cover the baby. Do I have to go about getting Medicaid before she's born or do I apply at the hospital? How does this work with getting a pediatrician to the hospital after I give birth? I called and they weren't much help just told me to "go to my local office and ask them" which I'm trying to avoid for as long as possible. Any info would be great!
