This come-up though! 😭 EDIT

This was my husband and I’s first room (top) only FIVE years ago. We couldn’t afford a dresser or any clothes storage or literally even toilet paper to be honest. Our mattress was years old. We didn’t even have an actual comforter for our bed. Just old quilts. The bathroom floor was rotten and stained, the kitchen was broken down, etc.

Five years later, our room on the bottom. Our duvet was washing at the time of this picture but it’s crisp white lol. We are now making almost 20k a month living in a 450k home. I found the top picture and I was SHOOK. I couldn’t even believe we lived like that. I just had to share. We have busted our ass!

- We don’t want a headboard because it bangs the wall

- My husband is an executive in an oil company, I’m an executive in the psych field.
