i’m so frustrated right now. i see all you mamas going to your first visits or having an appointment date and i’m having issues trying to get one.

i called my ob office yesterday, this is the same office i went to for my last pregnancy. i told them i wanted to schedule an appointment for a first prenatal visit, and that i didn’t have a referral but because i’m a previous patient she was going to schedule me. i was told another staff member would call me back with a date and time later in the day. i waited around until the minute the office closed and never heard anything back, so i called again today. i said i was looking for an update on a date and time for a first prenatal visit, and that i had called yesterday. she put me on hold then came back and said that the same staff member who was supposed to call yesterday would schedule me in, but she isn’t in today, so she would do it tomorrow and call me back. 🙃

i love the doctors at this place but the reception staff is so disorganized i almost want to go somewhere else. i had these same issues with them with my last pregnancy as well, but i just loved my doctor. i just want an appointment date so i have something happening soon to look forward to 🥲

UPDATE: i waited until 4:00pm (office closes at 4:30) and called them, AGAIN. a different girl answered the phone this time, and checked this magical list. apparently i’m on it and will now hear from the previously mentioned staff member on monday or tuesday 🙃
