Being with someone who isn’t financially stable

Hi everyone, I’d like your honest opinion. My bf got out the service about a year and a half ago so he gets “assistance” from the government and that’s his income, (which I believe he’s only going to get assistance for two more years and that’s it).. since I’ve met him he’s told me all the beautiful things he’s going to do/ become.

We’ve been together for a year and he still doesn’t have a job, I’d buy for us to go to amusement parks, for us to do things. Yes, he’d pay for food here and there but this is what I do, I go for guys who aren’t financially stable. I have no idea why, I trusted him when he was telling me and making it seem like what he does is all good (he was doing some side hustle).

Im tired of being with guys like this, im 26 I have a child. He’s amazing person but I just can’t do this anymore. If you’ve been with someone who isn’t financially stable, how did you do it??? Did he change? Pls anyone
