I have been taking Vienva (pill) for almost two years now. I’m very consistent and take it at the same time everyday. My periods have always started on Wednesdays. Well, today is Wednesday, and my period is due and hasn’t began. I’ve had 3 periods since I was last sexually active. I’m having all of the symptoms of my period starting, but it hasn’t started yet. Is it normal for your period to be a day late on birth control? This has never happened to me before and I’m freaking out!!

Side note: I have had a horrible head cold for 2 weeks now. It started out as an ear infection and got worse. I have been put on 5+ new medicines to try to clear it up, so there has been a lot of change with my body within the last 2 weeks. I am super sensitive to new medicines. Would this affect my cycle at all?
