Feel baby kicks one day then hardly any the next?

So I’ve been feeling my baby girl move for the last three weeks or so! There are some days where she moves and kicks like crazy and then there’s others where it feels like I’ve gone the entire day without feeling anything. I’m 20 weeks. Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Ya totally normal. I find if I’m extra busy and moving around I don’t feel her at all and when I’m at home relaxing is when I feel her like crazy.

I’ve also been told that when we are more active our bodies almost rock them to sleep so that can be why they are more active while we are still

I was in a whole panic yesterday because of this. I noticed she wasn’t AS active for the past few days & got really worried. Midwife reassured me that she’s going through a growth spurt (we’ll be 20wks tomorrow!) and may not be as active some days. I felt her moving quite a bit last night in bed, so that was relieving!

This has been my main source of anxiety for the last couple of weeks. This is my 9th pregnancy and 4th child so I am extremely anxious. I’ve heard it was normal but that’s not enough to calm my nerves. On the days I don’t feel her I use my hone Doppler, and it’s been reassuring that this is normal. I’m 19 weeks 3 days.
