I was 40+3 when i started feeling something in my lower abs, i had an appointment next day in the morning because i was over my due date, the doctor said that my cervix is not dilated yet and they will induce me on Sunday (27th of June) if nothing happens. I had cramps all day on 24th of June (40+4) and also had my bloody show, at night i could only breath through the cramps, my contractions came every 2-3 minutes and i felt them in my lower back so we went to the hospital after midnight. I was only 4 cm. I was so tired because i didn't sleep for like 2 days. Two hours later they checked me and i was at 5 cm, at 6 cm i asked them about epidural but my doctor said that it was too late and she didn't want me to get anything because she was afraid that it would slow down or stop my dilation process. They broke my water and the contractions started getting more and more intense. I am not gonna lie, it was the most painful experience in my life but the moment when you see your baby for the first time...i can't even describe the feeling. ❤ I had to push like 6 times and she was born on 25th of June at 12:09 AM.

Sorry for the long story but my advice for every pregnant women is SLEEP when you can only feel something and you are not sure that you are in labor or not because when it is time and you will have painful cramps you will not be able to sleep.

Every women is different and every birth story is different so don't let other people scare you with their experiences. It is gonna be very intense and painful but you will hold your baby in your arms soon. 🥰❤
