Placenta Lake?

Had my 20 week scan and all is well except I have an anterior placenta and placenta lake. I have to have a follow up with a high risk scan. Has anyone else had this experience?

I don’t even know what a placenta lake is? I had an anterior placenta and placenta previa. Xx

My high risk doctor found placenta lakes in my placenta last time I saw him. He said it’s nothing to worry about.

I had one but my ob said it was just something interesting the radiologist saw in the ultrasound, nothing that had any impact on the pregnancy. All went well and I delivered my little one full term.
