My baby is 6days old!HELPP

Hello mamas, so have delivered a baby boy this 2nd via c-section. 6th day of my lo.

Few confusions as I am a FTM!

Pls help with-

1) My lo has not learned to latch and due to my c-section surgery and pains, it’s getting very very difficult for me to sit for long and feed, so is it fine if i lay on my side and start feeding that way?

2) some say that newborns shouldn’t sleep on side and some say its good as they get a sound sleep in their sides.. help with the confusion!!

3) since he is unable to latch properly, he keeps crying and then i used pump last night and feed him with a spoon. That wasn’t still enough abd my supply isn’t great, doctor told me i will have to use formula milk if he is still hungry but i did not wanted to !! Now i am sooo confused as i fail to fill his stomach and he gets cranky and didn’t sleep last night for 6hours straight..

Can i use formula milk atlst once during bedtime so that he could get a sound sleep or any alternative options?

4) is it good if newborns sleep for longer time? As he sleeps 3-4hrs straight daytime .. wake s up 4times only! But nighttttt is 🥺

5) by when can I express my BM and feed him directly with the bottle?

6) by when does a newborn learn latching.. i am trying everyday!!
