Boyfriend advice

My boyfriend and I have been together only a year and I am 4 months pregnant. I’m 27 and he’s 24 (for background my parents are deceased)I haven’t met his parents yet because of the pandemic and him wanting to wait until they were vaccinated. Which I was totally fine with, now we are all vaccinated and I still haven’t met them, he says they know about me , but I’m starting to doubt it, I keep subtly bring it up, as I am getting rounder and it’s harder to hide I’m pregnant and I wanted to meet them before they knew I was pregnant. But he keeps saying “I’m going to speak to them”. I know they are religious and I know he is nervous but I am not even asking for them to know about they baby yet, just me… my feelings are hurt and even though I see him often and we work at the same job I feel like I’m being hidden. 1 picture of us on social media, hardly anyone at work knows we’re together and now him just dodging me meeting his family. I feel really alone and I’m sick of begging a grown man to change and do things. My friends keep saying leave him, but I feel bad possibly robbing my daughter of a father if we can work it out.
