Any tips for a newbie at the gym?!

I’ve been doing some home workouts and have done some spin classes and boxing classes at my university gym but now I want to start going into the weight room and start lifting.

I’m nervous to go in there for the first time and will just walk around to get familiar with what they got. I do not have anyone to go with so that’s scary - as I don’t really know what I’m doing yet. I will do my research for exercises and such before going.

But any tips???? Anything would be appreciated! My goals are gaining more muscle mass and just getting stronger overall. I want bigger arms and shoulders particular but will also obviously be doing legs and core on some days
