Lab Mix Up

So my husband and I got the results of our genetic test over the phone last week - it's a boy! We bought tiny blue things and shared the news with our world.

We went to a doctor appointment today only to discover there had been a mix up at the lab. 2 sets of results came back with my name on them. Both for healthy babies, but someone is having a healthy girl and the other is having a healthy boy. So which is it? Well, they are retesting and using a different lab this time.

My husband is really upset. He was desperate for a baby boy. If this baby is now a girl, I don't know what will happen. Same goes for my dad. He has already gone tractor shopping...and is equally desperate for a little boy. Truth is I want a boy too - and was so sure and elated to learn he was on his way. Ugh.
