BROWN SPOTTING- implantation bleeding or period?

Hey beautiful women! I stopped taking my birth control pills in may. Since then my period been a little irregular. I’d still get my period ever month but sometimes I’d have 2 full periods twice a month. However...this month is different. I spotted for 3 days straight. My period is 6 days away according to the app. Yes I am sexually active. I’m experiencing very dull cramps- but it doesn’t feel like period cramps. My discharge is stretchy & clear. What can this be ?
