Early labor bummer

I was having consistent contractions at the hospital 5 minutes apart exactly and getting stronger but they said I could go home and labor at home for a while until they were 2 minutes apart or until my water breaks - whichever happened first. I was all excited thinking I’d sit in the shower or bath and labor and go back in a few hours. The nurse said she expected I’d be back by the morning and ready to have her. But of course as soon as I get home the contractions are no longer consistent. Even completely went away for an hour or more while I was laying down. I’d get one every time I stood up, but another wouldn’t come for A while. Now they’re all over the place!! 30 minutes apart, 10 minutes apart, 3 minutes apart, an hour apart. Sigh!!! Have a feeling I’ll be like this for a few days before things get serious. I thought I was so close ):
