So my little one spiked a fever around midnight on Wednesday of last week. She had zero other symptoms besides maybe just uncomfortable from higherTemps (got up to 103.0 at one point) & was still eating/ drinking well. Tylenol would wear off about every 4-6 but it helped. We continued to so that, pedilyte pops, cool cloths, lukewarm baths. Temps seemed to go away Friday morning. She was fine all day Friday & Saturday. Then Sunday her tempature started to slowly rise again, but usually only at night. What could be causing this?

I called the ped during her first bout & she didn't seem too concerned, then i called Monday morning about them returning & didn't even get a chance to speak to the doc. but was given a well rehearsed line from her medical assistant about how many kids have been coming in with fever that later turn into respritory issues & to come in if that happens. Otherwise just keep treating her fever at home. (!!??)

I'm considering taking her to urgent care later this morning just to see of they can check her over, or even swab her for strep so I could have piece of mind that all is well. I feel so bad for her 😞
