I officially hit 40 weeks today, and I've tried EVERYTHING to induce labor and nothing works. For the past week I've had tons of sex, walked miles, ate spicy foods, tried castor oil, and more. Not one single contraction, but unfortunately my horrible upper back pain increased. My doctors refuse to do a membrane sweep, which is aggravating. My last appt was a week ago (I have another tomorrow) and my doc said I was 70% effaced, 1cm and baby was stationed at -2. They also said I measures behind but baby's weight measures ahead, which is why I'm in so much more pain. Please give me ideas to help naturally induce, I'm literally feeling almost hopeless and cry myself to sleep because of the pain every night.
