Anyone have tips for potty training a girl?

My almost 3 year old still isn’t potty trained, she speaks very well and understands the concept except she just doesn’t want to 😑. I’m getting frustrated and she needs to be potty trained for preschool. My son was so much easier to potty train!! Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I picked a weekend where we stayed home (weekend so dad could help) where we didn’t put a diaper or anything on. She ran around in a long T-shirt. I would set a timer on my phone for about and hour to go off and remind her to go potty. If she didn’t potty we would only set a timer for about 15-20 minutes. Lots of fluids so they are going frequently to understand the concept. The first day I had several accidents but by day 3 things where great. I did however still use a diaper for naps and night time. She is now 3 and only uses diapers for bed. I think that’s more developmental though and I don’t mind a diaper a day. 
We also offered a small candy (like two m&ms) or striker after going potty for encouragement

I completely agree with the comment that when they are ready they will do it. I tried to work with my daughter a few months back but she’s just about to turn three and everything seems to have clicked for her. And she was transitioning I would give her the choice every morning about whether she wanted to wear a diaper or underwear and was just casual about it.￼ Then lots of praise and attention for wearing undies and going in the potty.  I also had a potty seat and a separate little potty for her so she had the choice.  She’s entirely trained now (took maybe two weeks) with peeing but pooping is a whole different story!!  Good luck to you.  (Ps I also reminded myself that anyone who did amazing things in the world’s story didn’t begin with “They were potty trained at a very young age...” Lol)

Highly recommend “oh crap potty training”  book, you can find it on Amazon! Some of it comes off a little harsh for some people I think lol, but seriously worked for our daughter!

Ive found they will when they make up their minds to and not before🤪 I have all boys but the babies I used to watch had a pretty good method. We would have outside days in their favorite panties they picked out and they did NOT want to pee on princess so and so. We also did sticker charts(which I used for my boys) Just a piece of construction paper in the bathroom with a book of stickers. Tee=1 sticker 💩=2 and they get to show dad how many stickers they got when he gets home. Good luck mama!
