So my baby has had on/off again fevers for the past almost 5 days. No other symptoms. Well yesterday I tried to call her regular pediatrician office to see if she could be checked out

The medical assistant who answered the phone basically wrote me off. When baby woke up this morning she still wasn't feeling well and had high temp. 102.6 I text pediatrician personal number & said if I can't get her in to be seen today, I'm going to just take her to an urgent care. In the meantime I made apt with a cnp At a walk on clinic & getting right away. Tested her for strep because she was exposed to it. Test came back negative. But she put her on antibiotics anyway bc she had a red throat and the reoccurring may be some infection of some sort.

Well after that my ped text me and told me she has baby in the books for 2p.m. should I keep that appointment and be honest about her recent visit this morning? Or just cancel...I could see my ped getting mad or offended that I did that, I have been considering switching offices anyway for some other reasons......hmm.. thoughts on this??
