Products for hormonal acne?

Hey everyone. I need help with my hormonal acne. I am almost 30 and still deal with bad breakouts, mostly on my chin and cheeks. My face is pretty clear until I get my period and then all hell breaks loose. I use makeup wipes but that's it. I've tried Cetaphil, benzoyl peroxide, Curology, Proactiv, Witch Hazel, etc. In the past with no luck so I've just kind of given up on my skin but I'm sick of still having acne and breakouts at almost 30 😩

Stop using makeup remover wipes. To remove makeup at night I use the Tatcha oil cleanser, then Fresh soy cleanser. I also like the Claudalie Vinopure cleanser. In the morning I usually don’t wash my face, but when I do I use the Amorepacific treatment cleansing foam. It’s an enzyme exfoliant that helps with clogged pores, blackheads, etc. and leaves your skin glowing. At night I use IS Clinical Active Serum plus the Super Serum Advance+, along with the serum from beauty counter. I layer all of my serums together for the most benefits, but if you’re experiencing an active breakout I would only use the Active serum because it works amazingly on hormonal breakouts. After serums I use my Beauty Counter moisturizer. It’s important to keep your skin sufficiently moisturized so that it doesn’t over produce oil to make up for any lost moisture. It’s also a good idea to use natural makeup that won’t clog your pores. I usually don’t wear makeup, but when I do I use Beauty Counter makeup because it’s nontoxic and doesn’t clog pores. I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a breakout since starting this routine and I used to get them all the time before I had my son. Also, when I did have breakouts when I first started my “clean” beauty routine I would use frankincense oil on my pimples and it would clear them up more quickly than any other over the counter spot treatments.

Please stop with the make up wipes, you are doing everything wrong (from a former severe acne suffer that has now a totally clear skin). You need to double cleanse at night. Instead of make up wipes start with an oil based cleanser and follow with a gel cleanser and then serum/treatment and moisturiser. In the morning use a light gel moisturiser, at night you can use a more nourishing one. Start incorporating a retinol in your routine ( only if not breastfeeding/pregnant) and a aha toner.
