Our water was cut off a couple days ago and when it got back on it was muddy and dirty. I went to the bathroom and I washed myself with it without realizing it was dirty. Since then, I’ve been experiencing itching! But I have no discharge AT ALL. I spoke to a gyno and she said I have an infection and I have to take both antibiotics and anti fungals. I want to know if anyone else has experienced smth like this cause where I live, doctors give out antibiotics and antifungals very easily and it’s not always necessary. I don’t wanna take them if I don’t have to. For example I was suffering from vulvudynia for a long time and almost every doctor I went to said it was probably an infection and gave me medication for it!

Should I wait to see if the itching gets better by itself? Or if I get any discharge?
