Ok, so I need some advice and I apologise for the topic

For the last couple for years or so, when I dont shave my armpits for a while (even though I try to), they end up hurting and getting a bit sore. Sometimes it feels like there is a lump or bump there, but not always

However, it's fine when I have shaved and there's nothing there

I am tempted to mention it to the dr next time I go see her (which is tomorrow)

Has anyone else had this?

Edit - so I asked the dr today about it and she said that it is more than likely just an ingrown hair follicle or something. The fact that it isn't sore after I've shaved makes her think that it is nothing more than that. She did say that if it does get worse, or start hurting even after I've shaved, then she'd be a little more concerned. But she isn't that concerned right now
