How do you pronounce Wesley?

My boyfriend pronounces it differently than me and makes me not want to use the name. lol
I think I am right and he's just annoying.

I agree it should be Wes-ley but when said quickly it’s easy to slur it and it comes out as Wez-ley. I think many people unintentionally say it that way cause it’s easier. If that pronunciation bothers you I would avoid the name.
