How do I get my lo to drink more water?

Any cups that will help? I feel like I’ve tried every cup! She’s only two years old.

I wouldn’t flavor it, I think that’s starting a bad habit. My daughter always did straw cups not sippy cups. I gave lots of happy reminders for sips of water with praise for drinking it. If she really wasn’t wanting water I’d give her peanut butter or crackers or things that make you thirsty after you eat them and she’d drink plenty to catch up.

My ex’s family (my daughters dad) are fat “rednecks” and basically fill my daughter up with juice or milk. They don’t drink water or eat anything healthy 😒 when I have her, we work on just water with a cup of juice on rare occasions. Shell drink the water when she gets desperate and after the first few sips, she drinks it whenever (she prefers it cold tho) However, after we get her back from my ex, she always tries to throw a tantrum until we give her juice (which of course gets her nowhere) and the cycle starts all over again 😠

Maybe get some of those fun twisty straws that loop all around? Or flavor it just a smidge with pedialyte that way she is still being hydrated but there is some sort of flavor there.

Tell them it's your water. Seems to work for my kids since they will fight to get anything that belongs to me.

Diluted coconut water (with no sugar added, just vitacoco). Hydrating and naturally sweet. Slowly phased it out.

Add some flavor.  Even if its just 1/4 cup of juice or something.      You dont have to add much
