Did anyone show their man a birthing video?! Did it help?

My husband is a farm boy. He felt he didn't need to watch a birthing video because he's seen basically every animal give birth.

I tried to get him to watch one born every minute with me, when he finally decided he'd sit with me the camera had just gone to a shot of the baby crowning and then the head coming out. His face was hilarious but I must admit it makes me a bit squeamish. We haven't watched any since and not planning to

I showed both SO and brother. They did not take it very well but I'm just glad he didn't faint when I was giving birth. 😁 The video didn't help by the way.

Ha my husband watched lots of birth videos with me during my first pregnancy-- he took them all like a champ. He's like me, we both would rather do our research rather than go into something blind and not know what to really expect. We were both amped up and ready for a natural birth experience-- at least as ready as anyone can be lol. Unfortunately that pregnancy ended due to preterm labor at 25 weeks and our twins had to be born via c section and only survived two days in the NICU. Now due to the type of cut my doctor had to do I will always be stuck having c sections... So all of that research for nothing. Go figure.

My husband is a firefighter paramedic and part of paramedic school was assisting in 2 live births. I refuse to watch any videos ha. He knows more than I do!
