LO is 18 months old and we are expecting baby #2 in October so I’m looking for nice bed.

I added a recommendation because I can’t comment without one. We just are using a regular mattress on the floor. I like that it’s bigger so she has room to wiggle and it’s close to the floor so if she falls out it’s just a couple inches. It also means we’ll be able to add a frame as she grows and it can be a long term solution.

We bought a twin sized bed along with a dresser and nightstand. It’ll be his bedroom set until he moves out probably. We started with the mattress on the floor for a few weeks and we have a railing on the side so he doesn’t fall out. We had a stool next to it until he learned to get up there without it.
