So my co worker ordered food for himself and I believe it was either Doordash or Grubhub who delivered his food, soon as the food got there he lied and said his food was never delivered and got his money back and he told me he does it all the time I was like wow! I was actually pissed because his food arrived on time and it was hot! And I heard that the driver will have to pay for the food if the customer don’t receive it. I don’t know how true that is but I didn’t like what he did at all.

So the driver doesn’t have to pay for it if it’s DoorDash but they do get an email and they have to “explain” themselves and if it happens often they can get removed from being a dasher.
I hate people who actually do this because you are fucking with people for no reason. Like karma is gonna get you at some point.
