Disturbed sleeping at eight month old

My little boys just turned eight month old and from being a few weeks old hes slept through the night not a problem. The last few weeks he’s walking him self by tossing, turning, moaning banging his feet in his cot and his arms. He usually loves white noise during the day he settled and goes straight back down during the night it doesn’t work I have even attempted to put me in my bed with me to see if that’ll settle him and nothing. The only thing that seems to settle him is a bottle and I just don’t understand why when he’s never done it before and I feel like I’ve got a newborn all over again.
