Wedding after C-Section?

Question

Scheduled for a twin c-section 16th September, due to attend a wedding on the 18th October, think it would be okay to go? 
MIL has booked my partner and I a room on site to stay in (SIL’s wedding), and we would have a lot of support from his family if we needed it with regard to the babies, just not sure if I would be okay? 
Obviously would take a buggy so I’m not carrying babies, and we’re planning to formula feed so if I needed to excuse myself for a moment and babies needed feeding then my partner would be fine to sort that. 
Just wondering if I should tell my SIL now that I can’t go or if it’s worth at least making the effort to show up for an hour or so?

Wear a mask and don’t let anyone near the babies. If babies get any illness before 3 months it’s a freaking nightmare.

I wouldn’t do it no matter what way I gave birth, let alone a csection. That is a major abdominal surgery. And just 4 weeks after, AND adjusting to twin newborns.. I wouldn’t want that exposure for my babies either that soon.

After having a csection for twins myself I would not go. I had a classic incision that took 40 staples to close I didnt even have all the staples out within 4 weeks. And newborn twins are no joke mine did some nicu time not much only 5 amd 12 days but still. There are so main unknown factors that I would not commit to going personally.

Oh and maybe just prepare yourself and others that you may need to leave if it becomes too much on you guys.

That sounds like a lot just a month after having a c section and even more so with twins. Personally I had a hard time physically after my c section with my son- probably started feeling back to normal around 6 weeks or so but everyone is different. When my son was a month old we brought him on a little weekend trip and my whole family was there but it was exhausting for me bc he cried when everyone held him but me and having to try to keep his routine at an unfamiliar place was hard for me. Oh and covid had was in full swing so it was nerve wracking for us. That being said, if it is an important event and you know your family will be very supportive- go for it. I just wouldn’t volunteer to do ANYTHING but show up.
