Anyone else in the UK? Second time mum here and really struggling with the fact you wait until atleast 12weeks for your first scan.

With my last pregnancy I was so anxious I booked a private scan just so I could see that my baby was there and there was a heartbeat, and I'm feeling the same way again but not in the same place finacewise to have random private scans.

I'm 9weeks 4 days and have literally just had my first midwife appointment and haven't even had a set of bloods done yet as my appointment was done over the phone due to covid restrictions 🙄.

I don't feel like I can safely say I'm pregnant until I've had that first scan as I'm terrified of missed miscarriages etc
