Could a cervical check cause my mucous plug to come out?
Went in for my 38 week appointment and had my cervix checked. The doctor said I was 3cm and 50% effaced. She asked if I wanted a membrane sweep but I said no. Cervical check was kind of uncomfortable. Now I'm losing my mucous plug and wondering if maybe she did the sweep or the check caused it or possibly a coincidence?
