Has anyone ever ended up going into labor on their own before their planned c-section date?

I'm having a repeat c-section at 39 weeks but for some reason I have this nagging feeling that I'm gonna go into labor before then. I'm not really sure how to explain it. For those of you who ended up going into labor on your own did you end up delivering vaginally or did you still have a c-section?

My water broke at 38 weeks, a week before c section was scheduled. My c section was scheduled b/c my son was breech so I had the c section done at 38 weeks when my water broke

Yep. Went into labor at 33 weeks 6 days. Water actually broke first, then I went into labor. I was planning on a repeat c-section at 39 weeks. And at the hospital, they told me I could try vaginally. But with the stress and anxiety of it all happening unexpectedly, I went with a c-section. In my case, I had cephlopelvic disproportion (if I spelled any of that right) which they found out after pushing for 4 hours with my first baby then getting an emergency c-section. But with my second, being that she was estimated to be 4 lbs, my Dr thought I could try to do vaginal since she might be small enough for me to deliver. I went with the c-section because it was what I was planning, and I'd rather do it that way than labor forever and get a c-section after all that.

I went into labor a few hours before my scheduled csection. I still went through with the csection as baby was breech.

Not actual labor but I was having some contractions according to the monitors lol… and I was dilated to a 2.. Went to hospital just for a stress test I think it’s called- the week before CS. I didn’t feel anything but I told dr I wanted CS asap even if water broke or something
