NEXPLANON USERS: How long did your implant leave a bruise?

I got my Nexplanon implant a little over a week ago. My bruise is not only huge, but hasn’t changed much. Still has all the colors of the rainbow! No pain or irritation, just the bruise. I’m wondering when your bruise went away since it seems like it will take forever for me.

Longer than 2 weeks but I bruise like a peach with anemia

The longer you keep the bandage on the less likely you are to have a bad bruise from it. Sounds like your bruise is getting better.

I got it over 10 years ago so I’m not 100% sure, but I wanna say it was a couple weeks

I think it depends on how long you keep the bandage on and who puts in in I never had a bruse from mine.
