Hi mommas.

I’m 26 weeks pregnant today with my 4th baby. Let me just start by saying I have a bad history of preterm deliveries my 1st baby was delivered at 31weeks. My 2nd was delivered at 33weeks. & my 3rd baby was the only baby I carried to near term and he was born at 38w5days, but had major problems then weekly ultrasounds and 3 rounds of steroid shots for his lungs.

Anyway last week I started having some small contractions that got me in the hospital for 4 hours running tests etc. my cervical length then was 4.5 inches and her head was right by my cervix (had a vaginal ultrasound) and you could see it and she was head down and in position already to go. They told me I’m more than likely going to be sent back to a High risk doctor soon. Anyway fast forward to now. I have a burning but not really burning more of a pain pressure feeling inside my vagina it literally feels like stabbing in my cervix.!!

I’m not having any contractions at this point just that weird pain. Very uncomfortable!

My ob doctor is out of office right now due to some reasons and I don’t have an on call doctor to run this by my only option is going into the emergency room to be sent back to labor and delivery floor to be checked. But I’m home alone with my 1 year old son right now my husband is in California doing truck driving and won’t be home until sometime this coming week. And my other option is my mom which is in another county about an hour or so away.

I do not know what to do. I’m laying down trying to rest and drink water but this pain feeling is still there in my cervix area.

I don’t want to freak out but I’m confused at this point.
