Hello everyone,

I was on antibiotics (clindamycin) for strep throat for 10 days and used a backup method of birth control while on the antibiotics 4 days after completing the antibiotics I had unprotected sex. I called my gyno and she said it was probably fine but to take plan b to just be safe.

I took plan b 4 days ago and am wondering if plan b makes birth control ineffective. I’m on the mini pill (progesterone only) and haven’t missed a pill, been taking it at the exact same day every day for months.

Does plan b effect the mini pill? I had unprotected sex last night. Do I need to be worried?
