Curious

Why is it that I can put a fingertip, knuckle, binki, or pretty much anything else in my infant's mouth, she will suck on it like it's delivering the tastiest milk in the universe, but when I stick a nipple in there, she has to mouth it, give one sad little suck and release, rub it all over her face, and scream like I'm ripping off her fingernails about 50 percent of the time? Seriously girl, 3am ain't no time for playing games.
