Going Edinburgh for 2 nights with the baby (first time away) what is the best travel cot to buy?

My son used a pack n play for traveling until he was 2, then we put him in a real bed or an air mattress. My parents have a toddler air mattress for him with blow up sides all the way around the mattress so he can’t roll out. My in laws have a spare bedroom with a regular queen bed that he sleeps in by himself, but I didn’t feel comfortable letting him do that until he was over 2.

I would just use an air mattress instead. I got my kids each a queen and they sleep fine on it when necessary

For 9 months I would def recommend a pack n play . I also got the mattress to go with it. If I go a place that provides a pack n play then I just bring the mattress and sheet , if not then I bring my whole pack n play, but def worth it

Is it for you or for the baby? Or both? Either way I would just use air mattresses. I actually just got a blow up toddler cot with raised sides so they can't fall out for really cheap at Walmart for a cottage trip.
