so as of today i am officially 17 weeks & my very first obgyn appointment i weighed 303 . As time progressed i feel like i have been losing weight maybe because i couldn’t keep anything down i was sick a lot in the beginning & my baby just didn’t like ANYTHING . As of now my weight is jumping from 295 to 296 will that change is this normal ?

It’s normal with a high BMI, as long as you aren’t actively trying to lose weight your OB should be fine and if anything seems off they will let you know.

When you have a higher BMI, sometimes you will end up at a lower weight than when you started! It's not uncommon for some women in a higher BMI to actually drop a few pounds as eating habits change with pregnancy-- your stomach is being squished so you can't fit as much in at once, and foods you used to love might make you sick now. Totally safe so long as it's a slow loss and baby is still growing!
