How do you pick yourself up?

I find after every time I get A BFN I'm super super down in the dumps, almost angry at everybody, resentful to those pregnant or with a newborn (I know not their fault) and just want to give up completely.

How do you pick yourself up after a BFN or AF?

I am seriously SHOCKED at my own reaction to my BFN. We've only been trying two months (and the first month we knew we missed my fertile window, so we we knew that wasn't a "real" month). So yesterday, I tested at 9/10 dpo after our first real month TTC, and of course, BFN.

I really did not think I'd be disappointed. It's so early in the process and I know these things take time. But I'm surprised to find it didn't feel good. I have a lot of friends who got pregnant on their first cycle, so I guess even though I rationally know that's not the norm, maybe I was sort of hoping for it to happen to me too.

Anyway I don't know how long you've been trying and I'm sure it gets harder as you go along. I'm really sorry you didn't get your BFP. When I'm upset (about anything) I just try to keep busy, work out, or start a new project/hobby. I find that picking up a new hobby that you have to focus to figure out. (like knitting, crochet, soap making, cooking if you don't cook, whatever) - it serves as a good distraction and gets my mind off things. AND it makes me feel productive and successful!

I go to sephora, juice, hold my 8 month old nephew, but most of all, i tell people that i trust how I feel so that i don't bottle it all in.

I cried for hours and wad the same way. I researched new ways to increase fertility and the preparing for that gave me hope. If I get another bfn, I'm giving up, I'm going to go back to my old ways and not "try"  just let it happen.
