Ladies.. how awkward is a full body wax?😬

Ive only ever shaved down there and alllll around, but wanna try waxing!
1) how long does a wax last? Id like to not have to shave hair for atleast a weeek or so lol
2) how awkward is the process?!? Painful?
3) whats better- brazilian wax or normal one? Whats the difference? I feel like my bum being waxed will be weird.. no?  Can I skip the bum part lmao
4) ive had a third degree tear/episiotomy, one year post partum now. Obviusly fully healed.. but does this affect a wax at all?

I waxed people for a living! 
A full body wax is great but it’s a lot for your skin for the first time. I would recommend finding a well rated salon and make sure they are clean and courteous, and start with an arm wax or an under arm wax. Those are usually the easiest to hide reactions (if any) and also tougher skin than anything else. Then see how your skin reacts and go back for more! And it’s only awkward if you make it awkward. We do this for a living lol so just like a doctor, we are here for you to help not make fun of your lady parts lol 
A wax can last as long as two weeks or two months. It honestly depends on your hair and it’s different for EVERYONE. 
For example, an armpit wax lasts about two weeks before the hair is fully grown and ready to be waxed again. 
While Brazilians last anywhere from 3-5 weeks as it’s thinner hair. Eye brows can go from 3-7 weeks and legs can go from 3-5 weeks. Let me tell you tho, once you start waxing you really don’t want to stop. Waxing makes your hair grow back thinner and finer every time. So when you shave in between waxed you are making that thinner hair courser and thicker with the constant micro tugging of a razor. This makes it harder for us to grab the whole hair when waxing so it just breaks at the surface and grows back in a week like shaving. 
Yes it’s going to hurt, now it’s not as painful as child birth obviously but It is ripping your hair from beneath the skin and out of its root. That usually does give a little sting. 
However with my clients I always applied pressure after ripping off a strip to help the sting. It only lasts a few seconds. 
Great question! A Brazilian is what is described as bikini line, butt crack and full bikini included. However i have AOT of clients that come in just to do a full butt wax because GIRL your cheeks are so baby soft afterwards lol 
You can get all of these services separately if you don’t want one of them done like the butt crack. 
A bikini line is waxing skin that shows around your bikini bottoms but not IN them (like inner thigh and where your tummy meets your hip bone) a full bikini is a bikini line plus what IS inside the bikini bottoms (your vagina, labia, and hood) and then a Brazilian is all of that, PLUS one or two strips going into your butt crack and getting everything done.

Also when it comes to stitches and healed tears, being on your period, any Current genital breakouts, rashes, or anything that happens down there, LET YOUR WAXER KNOW, they know how to apply the correct layered strips to avoid any pain or damage to you. If they don’t, RUN! They aren’t a good waxer if they can’t do their pattern correctly.

It’s not too bad, the waxer does this all the time and a skilled one can minimize pain and make it not uncomfortable. A Brazilian shouldn’t impact your prior injury at all especially if not recent. It should last 4-6 weeks depending on your hair growth. I have only gotten Brazilians as opposed to full waxes - Brazilians remove everything. You will be tender the day after and it’s not recommended to have sex the day after you wax. You will want to be sure to have some in grown hair serum or something becyase that can sometimes start happening after you get Brazilians.
