Does this sound like he likes her?

Boyfriend of 7 years is going to group therapy and there’s a girl there that he keeps talking about. He says she’s weird and annoying, talks too high pitched, compliments people annoyingly etc. It is making me suspicious how much he talks about her and I’ve heard of guys talking bad about women they like or are cheating with. The other day they made self care jars and she gave him dried flowers to put in his jar. And gave him a rock and some kind of plant saying it’s good for relationships. And he told me that today she said his face looked good today and smiled (he even added the part where she smiled). He keeps saying that he’s putting boundaries on their friendship because she seems weird. Does this sound like he likes her?
