How many weeks am I?

What do you guys go by date of last period or date of conception? I ovulated on 2nd August cd23 which would only make me 4 weeks 2 days but my last period was on 11th July so would make me over 5 lol.

Your doctor will only go off of your LMP. Which, generally speaking means 14 days before you ovulated. So if you ovulated a significantly different amount of time than that, just add 14 days to when you actually ovulated, and that will give you a more accurate estimate of where your baby's development will be and when your due date should be.

Going by LMP is only accurate if you have a normal 28-ish day cycle. 
If you have longer cycles (like me) and know you ovulated a week-ish later than someone on a normal cycle would then going by your supposed conception date would be more accurate. 
I ovulated on CD 22, which would put me on average a week behind a standard 28-day cycle, where about CD 14 is the norm. 
My LMP was July 3rd. Based on that I am 6+4.
But I ovulate a week later. So technically I am only about 5+4.
