Good excuse for not call no show at work?

I had a shift but the day before that I lost my phone (my laptop broke the week prior to that). Didn’t attend the shift as had form of transportation due to my phone being gone, couldn’t contact anyone, not even my family.

Pls give me a good excuse to tell my boss

- literally asked for a good excuse instead I’m getting grilled about I did wrong. I get it, trust me! me missing work wasn’t even the worst thing that happened from loosing my phone.. I already hate myself for that so unless you want to give me advice I can actually use right now, save it-
