Yesterday I had my first ultrasound and they are estimating me at 15 weeks because my last period was May 6 but I don’t get my period every month. Sometimes it comes every other month or every 3. When they did the ultrasound they said it was an empty sack and they are ruling it as a “missed abortion” this is all from the ultrasound tech. Then a doctor I never met before( he was the only one still at the office) comes in and says to schedule a surgery to have it removed. They never did blood work or anything prior to this other than a urine test to confirm pregnancy. I think I’m not as far as they think because all pregnancy test I took in June were negative. My first test in July which was July 21 is the first positive. Is it possible to be misdiagnosed with this. I requested bloodwork be done. I’m literally destroyed and so upset. Any input helps. Thanks
