Incisional hernia after myomectomy

Kat • Ttc #1

So I had an abdominal myomectomy this past July. They removed 2 fibroids totaling 24cm. Surgery was a success and after losing 53 pounds following the surgery I started ovulating on my own again. We were super excited and started ttc for our first last cycle.

About 3 weeks ago I started having really bad stomach pains so I went to my local walk in clinic and they did a cat scan and they found a "small inflamed incisional hernia". They have me antibiotics and it helped with the inflammation. I was told to follow up with my gyn.

I saw the nurse practitioner at the gyn 2 days ago and she couldn't give me any answers or solutions she is suppose to speak to the gyn today and call me tomorrow. She did say there are 3 possibilities 1. Wait and watch it 2. Gyn goes back in and repairs it or 3. General surgeon repairs it.

Of course I have been googling the crap out of this and i have have found that sometimes they can wait till you have a c section and repair it at the same time. I also read that if you do repair it you should wait 3 to 5 years till it heals to have a baby. I'm 33 years old!

I'm just so fustrated. I have been crying everyday for a week. Also I'm currently ovulating (ewcm and everything) so it's like bd or not to bd? I don't know.

Anyone have any experience in this area or have any advice. I posted this in ttc over 30 and I got no responses.
